Blog Reflection 1:
I feel that I am definitely learning useful information in this class. I like that the instructor gives us interesting websites that we can skim through, like the Gutenberg Project website with all the free e-books. I do not think I would have ever come across it on my own if she hadn’t mentioned it. Also, I had never researched an online database-at school or anywhere else! This will be great practice for me, especially when the time comes that a professor assigns me a research project. Although this is not my first online course, I can honestly say that this particular class is a breath of fresh air. I am challenged, but at the same time, I do not dread logging on to do the work like I did with previous courses. I like that assignments have a lot to do with my interests and my thoughts, instead of writing down facts and answering essay questions. So far, I really like that all assignments are due on Sundays. Like that, I know exactly when to work on things. In other classes, deadlines were completely random and were not evenly spaced out. Here, I feel confident about turning my work in on time. Overall, I hope my classmates and I do very well in this LIB 3 course. Good luck to all!
